Pit-mounted CTA checklist
A CTA pit-mounted car turntable is usually chosen when the project can prepare a recessed foundation and the owner wants a cleaner flush-floor result. It is common in new-build villas, basement garages, permanent showroom areas and projects where the surrounding floor can be coordinated before final finishing. The key risk is civil accuracy. Pitless does not mean no preparation; it means the preparation shifts from pit construction to floor condition, ramp planning, cable protection and approach clearance.
The existing concrete floor should be suitable for the vehicle and platform load. The surface should be flat enough for stable operation. The raised profile needs ramp planning so vehicles can enter and leave without scraping. Low sports cars, long-wheelbase vehicles and heavy EVs should be reviewed carefully. Unloading and packing checklist
