Car Turntable Foundation, Power and Drainage Planning
Review foundation pit, concrete, PVC conduit, drainage and electrical cabinet planning before installing a car turntable.
Pit-mounted car turntable projects need civil preparation before installation. Typical planning items include pit depth, pit diameter, concrete strength, floor flatness, drainage and power conduit route.
Outdoor projects need special attention to drainage. Water should not collect inside the foundation pit or near electrical components.
The electrical cabinet position should be confirmed before embedding conduit. Voltage, cable size and control method need to match the final project specification.
For pitless CTB projects, the existing concrete floor should still be checked for strength, flatness and available ramp space.
